BODY COMP GYM

Body Comp Gym was born out of a desire to provide people with an alternative to the radical, quick fix training and diet methods that are so prevalent in the current market. 

We believe you haven’t reached your goal until you are happy with your body and able to sustain your results over the long term, in a healthy and enjoyable way. While we won’t ever tell you it won’t take some sacrifices, we also understand that fitness probably isn’t the only priority in your life and our efficient nutrition and training methods reflect this.

Training

Your training program will be designed specifically for you, built around your personal anatomy, movement patterns, injury history, training experience and desired outcome. We never use pre-written templates, you are unique and your program will be too. There are no compulsory lifts, we will select appropriate exercises and teach you how to execute them with excellent technique.

Your coach will constantly be monitoring your progress, providing feedback and making any necessary adjustments on a session to session basis. As you progress, your program will evolve with you.

Nutrition

We treat nutrition as an education process. We will design a framework to get the results you want, then encourage you to make your own food choices within that framework.

Sustainable nutrition habits are key to your long term success and a steady, consistent approach drastically increases your chances of maintaining your results. We won’t ask you to ban certain food groups, follow rigid meal plans or adhere to extremely restrictive diets. Instead, we will guide you and give you tips for small changes you can make along the way which, over time, will lead to big results.

OWNER AND COACH

Hi, my name is Paul and I own and run Body Comp Gym in Crowborough.

I have coming up to twenty years in the coaching industry. I started coaching football at fourteen and continued coaching professionally in the UK and America. I believe this was the best possible foundation for the last eight years, where I have used my coaching skills to get the best out of people I work with, empowering them through weight training.

We are all unique and although my methods are underpinned by science, there is no one size fits all with my training and nutrition programs. Different people learn in different ways, some are verbal learners and some visual. With my years of coaching experience I pick up on these differences and cater to them, this is an efficient way to teach and train. 

We as humans are capable of so much if we show dedication and put in the work. I am dedicated to supporting my clients to be in the best shape of their lives, if you show up ready to make a few key changes in lifestyle and training we WILL achieve results together.
