Here, you'll find answers to common questions about our personal training studio, memberships, training sessions and nutrition coaching. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

GENERAL

  • We offer two types of memberships: 1-2-1 Personal Training and Small Group PT.

  • We charge £20 per session for Small Group PT and £40 per session for 1-2-1 PT. We bill weekly; for example, if you sign up for a two-session-a-week Small Group PT membership, you will be billed £40 a week.

  • We don’t have contracts! If you feel we’re not the right fit for you, you can cancel your membership immediately without any notice period. Your satisfaction is our priority

  • We don’t have contracts, so you can cancel your membership at any time without any notice period.

  • We will log your progress in a training logbook we keep at the gym. You will also be set up with a nutrition spreadsheet to track your progress.

  • We are a by-appointment-only personal training studio.

    All of our sessions are 50-70 minutes long.

    Our Small Group PT sessions run on the following schedule:

    Monday - Friday:
    8.45am
    9.15am
    4.45pm
    5.15pm
    5.45pm

    Saturday and Sunday:
    8.45am
    9.15am

    1-2-1 sessions are scheduled directly with your coach.

  • Yes, there is plenty of parking on site.

TRAINING

  • Many small group PT gyms operate on a 6:1 ratio, meaning each client receives a maximum of 10 minutes of coaching in a one-hour session if split evenly. Once a warm up is completed and factoring in adequate rests, this is often whittled down to 5-6 minutes of coaching per client. To get round this generic templates are used rather than providing true personal training.

    We operate on a 2:1 ratio, with two gym members per coach. In our Small Group PT sessions, you’ll train alongside three others, coached by two trainers. Our main goal is to provide quality coaching, not just fill our gym. We prioritise coaching over numbers, ensuring each client gets the attention they deserve. This is why we carefully select our clients and avoid misleading marketing tactics. At our gym, it’s all about delivering personal, effective training tailored to your needs.

  • If you sign up for a Small Group PT membership, you'll be coached by both Paul and Bex. To learn more about us, click here! For 1-2-1 sessions, we’ll decide together which coach suits you best.

  • To get started, simply contact us and share a bit about yourself and your goals, or book a phone call with us. If we believe we’re a good fit for you, we’ll arrange a meeting at the gym to get to know you better. During this one-on-one session, we’ll have you perform some simple bodyweight movements to assess how you move and identify the best lifts for you. This session is a fact-finding mission to help us create your personalized training program.

  • Wear comfortable clothes and trainers and bring a water bottle.

  • Absolutely! We love teaching people to lift weights.

  • We don’t offer free trials or drop-in sessions because all of our training sessions are personalized. Each session is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of our clients, ensuring the highest quality coaching and results.

NUTRITION

  • Yes, nutrition coaching is included in all memberships. We provide personal nutrition plans tailored to your specific goals and dietary needs.

  • During your initial 1-2-1 consultation, we’ll ask if you’d like assistance with nutrition. While a nutrition plan is completely optional, it’s included in all memberships. We highly recommend taking advantage of this, especially if you have physique or visual goals.
