We are a husband-and-wife team with a private personal training studio in Crowborough. Our no-nonsense approach cuts through the noise to deliver what truly works, helping you achieve your strength and physique goals through expert coaching, fully personalised programming, and unwavering support.

We understand that starting (or restarting) your health journey can feel overwhelming. From navigating training to figuring out how to eat in a way that supports your goal and fits your lifestyle, the process often feels complicated and confusing. That’s where we come in.

Our Approach

We believe in meeting you where you are. Too often, people follow programs that are unsustainable in the long term, leading to a frustrating yo-yo cycle - getting in shape, falling out of shape, and starting over again. Our approach is different. We begin by understanding your unique starting point, we will work collaboratively with you to map out your journey, so you are clear on what is needed from you on a daily and weekly basis. From there, we support you every step of the way, focusing on small, manageable changes that build lasting habits to transform not just your body, but your entire lifestyle for the long term.

Movement Assessment
We begin with a comprehensive movement assessment to identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, ensuring your training is both effective and safe.

Nutrition Assessment
Our detailed nutrition assessment helps us understand your dietary habits and preferences, forming the foundation for a plan that works for you.

Bespoke Training Program
Receive a fully personal training program created specifically for you. We’ll provide ongoing support and make adjustments whenever needed to ensure you get the best results.

In-Person Training Sessions
Train with purpose, following your training program, with the support of your coach. We will refine your technique, keep you motivated, and push your limits.

Bespoke Nutrition Plan
We create a tailored nutrition plan to complement your training, focusing on fuelling your body, setting you up for long-term success.

Weekly Check-Ins
Stay on track with regular weekly check-ins to review your progress, address challenges, and adjust your plan as needed. This may be video feedback, a video call, a phone call or an in person meet.

Ongoing Support
Continuous support from our team through communication and guidance, keeping you motivated and accountable every step of the way.

    With over twenty years in the coaching industry, I began my journey coaching football at fourteen and continued professionally in both the UK with a Premier League club and America. This experience laid a strong foundation for the past eleven years, during which I have focused on empowering individuals through personal training.

    At Body Comp Gym, we understand that everyone is unique. While our methods are grounded in science, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to our training and nutrition programs. People learn differently—some are verbal learners, while others are visual. My extensive coaching experience with both adults and children allows me to recognise and adapt to these differences, ensuring a personal, effective and efficient training experience.

    I firmly believe that with dedication and effort, we are capable of achieving incredible things. I am committed to supporting my clients in reaching their goals. If you are ready to make a few key lifestyle and training changes, we WILL achieve remarkable results together.

    I started training at Body Comp Gym a few years ago, and with Paul’s coaching, I was able to completely transform my physique.

    A former self proclaimed ‘cardio bunny’ I was always chasing a ‘toned’ look - I believed the key was just moving more and eating “healthy-ish.” It worked for a while in my early twenties (thank you youthful skin), but as I moved into my thirties, I realised I wasn’t making progress. On top of that, I felt overwhelmed by all the conflicting wellness advice online.

    I’ve experienced firsthand the confidence that comes from building a stronger body and the pride of achieving a physique I’d always dreamed of. This experience made me realise how important a really good coach is, which inspired me to transition from a career in design to one in coaching.

    Now, I love helping others experience the same change. There’s nothing better than seeing someone grow stronger, exceed their expectations, and feel their best - inside and out.

    Meet Juno. While you won't often find her on the gym floor, Juno is no stranger to heavy lifting and protein-heavy meals. Her days are spent hauling ridiculously heavy sticks around Ashdown Forest, ensuring Paul and Bex get enough fresh air and cardiovascular exercise. Her dedication to keeping the team active and outdoors is matched only by her love for exploring and staying fit in nature's gym.
